1. How does a project with Clothmark normally proceed? Our process is collaborative and transparent, typically following these stages:
Discovery & Strategy: We start with a consultation to understand your goals, audience, and vision.
Proposal & Planning: We provide a detailed project plan, timeline, and fixed-price quote.
Design & Development: We create designs for your approval and then build your project, keeping you updated at every milestone.
Review & Revisions: You test the project and provide feedback. We include a set number of revision rounds to ensure perfection.
Launch & Support: We deploy your project to the live world and offer ongoing support and maintenance plans.
2. How do you handle pricing and payments? We support clear and consistent pricing. We give you a fixed-price quote for your project following our first discovery call so you are aware of the precise cost up front. We need a deposit before we start work. The remaining sum is then divided into milestone payments that correspond to different stages of the project (e.g., development completion, design approval). This strategy keeps cash flow under control and links our success with yours.
3. Who owns the finished website or design? The completed work product (website files, final logo design, etc.) is yours after the last payment. This gives you complete permission to use, modify, and transfer that work to another supplier at a later time. Any previously developed code, as well as our proprietary tools and procedures, are still our property. We will make sure you understand that any third-party materials (such as stock pictures or fonts) are subject to their own licenses.
4. How long does it take to build a website? The breadth and complexity of the project are the only factors that affect the timeline. While a sophisticated custom e-commerce platform could take three to six months, a basic brochure website might take four to six weeks. The timeliness of client input and the availability of required content (text, graphics, etc.) are the two main elements affecting the timetable. In your project proposal, we will include a precise and practical timeline.
5. Do you offer website maintenance and support after launch? The breadth and complexity of the project determine the timeline. It could take four to six weeks to create a basic brochure website, and three to six months to create a sophisticated custom e-commerce platform. The schedule is mostly impacted by the speed at which client feedback is received and the availability of required content (text, graphics, etc.). We will include a precise and practical schedule in your project proposal.
